F-Sport Wheels

Yeah I was kinda in a hurry when I posted those pics and I should have explained. Seize photo-chopped those wheels on my car for me.
Here's the thread: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=333472
Sorry, I didn't mean to "misrepresent".

Considering BBS made them exclusively for the IS F I can see how they are that much. Probably the best bet is to try to get them from someone who will upgrading their IS F wheels to an aftermarket one. I think I'll keep mine though, because not only do they look cool, but they are very light too.

The F sport wheels were the ones I was quoting being too much $
To invest so much on F-Sport or IS F wheels, why not just the the IS F
you right tho...Get that IS F and keep those wheels

Retail on F-sport wheels are $4575.
IMO, IS-F wheels are ugly compared to the F-sport wheels. Both are forged and the F-sport are lighter. Once I get a set in I'll cehck out and see who manufactured them.

forged wheels are better though, they are stronger and lighter. If i were you I would look around until i found something that i HAD to have. if that is how you feel about the isf wheels go with them otherwise keep looking.

$4575??? Holy mother of goodness. Nevermind. But I do have a family member who works at Lexus corporate. Would I probably be able to get a good hookup? And when you get the set in carchitect, lemme know who manufactured em too, yeah? Thanks!

Forging results in metal that is stronger than cast or machined metal parts. This stems from the grain flow caused through forging. As the metal is pounded the grains deform to follow the shape of the part, thus the grains are unbroken throughout the part. Some modern parts take advantage of this for a high strength-to-weight ratio.
