Default F-Sport Wheels

I was JUST about to buy a set of MMR GT-1 wheels (I honestly don't even know the true quality of MMR products), then I saw the F-Sport rims offered by Lexus and now I'm in a bind. I need some honest help. Are forged wheels really better? And if so, isn't the est. $2k for the F-Sport ones worth it? Or are they too ugly to even think about? I can't tell! Help me out please

I think it is F-sport rims are more then 2k. Forged are better than cast wheels. they are litte strong and can handle more abuse then cast.

Where did you get a price that it is 1800 apiece?

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=335113

Look near the end of the thread and you will see the exact prices for each wheel...and it was verified from a few different dealers....

I think 1800 a piece is too much for a wheel... Could anyone confirm the price?

Well it would be a REALLY crazy thing to do to post the dealer list prices AND part numbers...and just make it all up....lol....

"i just looked up the price at my dealership as well, rob, and mines running it for $1897.18 retail. i was excited to maybe try this out until i saw the price haha
______________"

"part number is 42611-53190 for a front rh. since its staggered rear rh is 42611-53230. front lh is 42611-53180 while rear lh is 42611-53220.

looks like the rears actually run for $1930.77, ~~$40+ more than the fronts.

Then a COMPLETELY different person across the country wrote...

"lmao i looked up the price on the IS-F wheels at work and my cost was an amazing $1,400 PER RIM!!! AND THEY ARE DIRECTIONAL!!! there will be no rotating... no swapping sides or nothing... when you buy them, its FRONT right, Front left, rear right and rear left....

but yea the IS-F brakes are gorgeous and i plan on putting those on my 2is when they come out... my cost is an amazing price on everything for the front......... lets just say under $1k....

They were 1400 not 1800 because he stated later that he gets them at 10% over cost....

Soo....in my book, thats verified.

I rest my case. You're getting three different prices from three different places. All of them can't be right.
