Default volk owners with iforged tpms adapters???

if i opt to go with this setup will I still run the risk of crushing the sensor if i get a flat tire?

I will be going with Volk GT-V's... i read that some owners had flats and destroyed the sensor..

iforged makes tpms adaptors? last time I bought adaptors from them it wsa made by a company called tpms solutions....and how do you get flats if you have your tpms on and working? if warning comes on just get air right away and no flat so no broken tpms....

I'm running these in my GT-7's. The adapter positions the sensor so that it lays flat against the barrel of the wheel. You would crush the lip of your wheel before you'd crush the sensor.

That's only if the object/debris is as wide as the entire tire. If it's any less than that, it can damage sensor without touching either rim.

^That's also true of the stock setup as well. The iForged adapters actually give more clearance from the sensor to the tread of the tire.

If I'm not mistaken, the stock sensors are countersunk into the little channel right up against the lip where you are going to get some protection from it. From your pic, it looks like the sensor is just about even with the lips and you won't get any help from the lips unless again, the debris is as wide as the tire.

On the stock wheel The TPMS sits atop the barrel near the edge of the wheel, instead of the center of the barrel as it does on my Volks. My point is that you could just as easily damage the TPMS in the stock wheel's location as you could running these adapters. You're much more likely to hit something with the edge of your tire than you are to run it over directly in the center of the wheel.
