Default NEW MEMBER: Finally received my IS 250 RWD from CA

Hey guys!

After a month of waiting, I finally got my car (in VA)! It's a brand new black/black IS 250 RWD with 18" wheels, HID, Premium Package, preferred accessories package.

I bought the car from Lexus of Putnam (the price was awesome! 1250 < invoice; however, their service was spotty). I had finished the paperwork on January 7th. The scheduled release of the car was that following week as they had to confirm payment with Chase. Unfortunately, they couldn't release the car in time for the first pick-up date with a closed carrier company I had contacted to ship the car (DeMoise Trk-ing). The next pick-up date was February 2. The car was finally delivered today.

I'll post pictures VERY SOON (within the next week).

Anyhow, I wanted to thank this forum for giving me the courage to pull the trigger on purchasing the car (despite not seeing the exact car I was buying in person).

Red-outs are coming soon! and maybe a rear spoiler and maybe a GFX kit too!

Congratulations, enjoy your car! I am no fan of Putman (sales guy was rude to me when I went there once, although this was years and years ago) but since you're past that, you won't have that problem.

You will love this car, get the TSIB's fixed asap, and you won't have any complaining, even thought it is small scale repairs.

Yes,

And I don't have the exact code numbers but you can find them while searching. I will post them all when I get my car back. I am having the new lest dusty brake pads, noise kit for the ACvent and dash clips, seat squeak kit for the driver rails, and the noisefilter for my 12v ipod jack.

Thanks!! Honestly a month's wait felt as if I was special ordering my car. But the car arrived in exactly the same condition it left the dealer's lot. Closed carriers are expensive (1300 for the shipping), but definitely worth it for the ease of mind! Plus, most open carrier company's were quoting me for 900-1000. Sigh if only I had lived in Cali!

Can you tell me what the name of your salesman is and how much you actually got the car for? I'm from Texas and also trying to buy from california. I'm having a difficult time trying to find a salesman willing to deal with out of state buyers. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
