when you disable the DRL's, do the hi beams still work?

Hi-beams should still work, turning of the DRL only affects the DRL not the high beam.

i thought they where one in the same? isnt the daytime light a percentage of the high beam when on??

had mine turned off my highs still work when i turn them on

if that was the case, people wouldn't even bother having the dealer turn off the drl... they'd just take the bulb out. but yeah... drl's off doens't affect the high beam function.
