Default How low is the INGs kit? Speed Bumps? Safe for NYC ???

How low is INGs front lip from the ground to the bottom of the front lip?

Are you still able to clear speed bumps?

I have the Eibach springs so im already lower.

im thinking about getting the replica INGs kit, mainly becuase it would be alot easier and less costly to replace if anything were to happen.

NY roads are horrible, but i already have 20s and alot of people told me not to get them, but im happy with my decision.

So im thinking about just doing it and hopeing for the best. im just worried i wont be able to clear speed bumps or pull into or out of driveways.

so what do you guys think, just go for it? or is it just too low for NY?

i wish i lived in cali and didnt have to worry about this stuff, i would be slammed to the ground lol

thanks in advance

dont wish you live somewhere before you experience the scenerio for reals man. i live in cali and my car is in the worst shape ever. I have the vertex kit and i scrape a lot and im only dropped on 2" springs. I have 19" wheels and they are bent because of potholes... the driving conditions in cali are so bad.

just go for it if you want it. but it'll probably scrape so dont expect that it wont scrape. best of luck!

I've been to Cali and driven from SF to LA and I gotta say, the roads on average are 100x better than the roads in the tri-state area lol. After yesterday's rain, this one stretch lost 1/3rd of its road surface in a sunk hole... god that was painful watching others going over it and then hitting it at a considerable speed myself. Stock would barely clear the roads here, I would say dont get it unless youre ready to spend some angry nights mauling over a big hit/scratch

sorry there is TOO LOW, my friend down the street has a 2IS ings/coils slammed/volk and his car is... well... he kinda gave up, tore the front lip off and the liner is hanging... i COULD take a pic to show you but that would be disrespectful of me.

The INGS kit hangs pretty low but you should be fine on the roads. It will clear most speed bumps. My issue w/ mine is going in and out of drive ways. I have one nasty scrap now leaving a gas station. GL w/ your decision.
