Technically, black and very dark cars are slightly harder to pick up on radar than lighter colored cars. My former neighbor was a motorcycle cop and he told me that he sometimes had to "shoot" a black car two or three times before getting a reading, especially if they didn't have a front license plate.

Yea thats only speeding stuff, 'stealthy' can mean more than speeding therefore the 'blend in with the sheep' theory.

Also for speeding you need to dull all reflective surfaces and if your really into speeding you'd have bought a laser jammer already

Interesting that smokey granite mica is leading the tally. According to snopes, in the only statistical study correlating colors to speeding tickets (done by a reporter for St. Petersburg Times), grey cars were the ones that received a much larger share of tickets than they statistically should have.
