it's cheaper to get 6 and pay for the shipment to Saudi once than to just pay for the shipment twice. I should be getting them in 10-14days i'll post pix.

i already have someone who's interested in the 2nd best match

Hi Guy's I'm new to the forum.
I'm actually interested to get the 27SMT bulbs.
After reading this post, 11SMT matched the 6000k hids????
Does this mean its as bright as a 6000k headlight?

My region has a 5000k limit on headlights... would the 27SMT be superbright and subject me to getting stopped and fined by traffic wardens?

well... because one of our hawaii members recently bought 9smt bulbs and after i installed it he said 'so i guess mine are better than yours now' SO... i just HAD to get the 11smt bulb

Here are my thoughts:

If you run the lower 5smt and you have 6k hids, the light output from the 5smt is minimal so the 'color' from the hids bleeds into the parking lite housing thus it makes a 'match'. After putting in the 11smt bulbs the light output is greater so it kinda holds off the bleed from my 6k so now it doesnt seem to quite 'match'. Therefore if you want a 'matching' parking lite i suggest you go with 5smt, i am debating weather to thow my 5's back in i dunno we'll see...

4.3k is stock hid, thing about the 5smt, it matches both, dont know how 11smt would match the stock hid since im not to interested in putting the stock ones back in just to see if they match. As for installing the parking lite, its in the manual p.31x, around there but as always one bit of advise, have a small strip of electrical tape precut to tape the bulb after you plug it into the harness, just incase

there is a pretty sharp contrast between the stock 4300k HIDs and the 11smt vleds. There is no "match", but its sharp enough that i think it looks pretty unique.

ya i'll take a picture when i get home from work.

also, as far as i know, the only difference between the 5 and 11smt leds is the brightness.

Cool thanks,

the higher number the brighter the light output?

Wonder if its gonna produce a little bluish light output with the stock HID

reguardless if you choose 5/9/11/27smt or the one that vleds runs on his car it will look way better than the stock bulb.

the differance is the brightness
