I was just wondering if you install Aftermarket parts such as an exhaust, do these aftermarket parts void the new Lexus Warranty? What is a good time to MOD a new car?

There is a law out there that states the car manuf. has to prove that the part that was added was in direct cause of any issue
Not going to say your headlamps went out because of an exhaust etc...
but you would be shocked

It is a violation of federal law for a manufacturer to deny warranty coverage due to an aftermarket part unless the manufacturer can PROVE the failure they are refusing to cover was -caused- by the aftermarket part.
Now, the question of proof and cause might be muddy for something like "Did my aftermarket headers lead to a burned exhaust valve" (probably not but they can make a case for it) versus something clearcut like "I know my aftermarket axle-back exhaust didn't cause my navigation system to stop working so it's still covered"
