I like the aluminum on the transmission console but it looks down right awful around the nav and air vents (glad you took those off! )

i wish i saw this earlier! that makes 10x more sense than what i got! it has only the pieces i've ended up using, they price is right & the finish on the edges looks much better. If anyone is going to get these please share

what he said. Give us some DIY guidelines and instructions.
i am not sure what type of material it is, the surface felt like real brushed aluminum, the material is almost 2mm thick, mostly made of a spongy base which is the adhesive part and also acts as a padding making the kit forgiving with curves etc.
The installation was very straight forward, just wipe the surface clean from dust, peal the covers off both ends and place it.

I did this awhile ago when I had my grand am and had them coat some pieces in brushed aluminum. The results were pretty sweet and for what you pay for these overlays its cost about the same. Plus you don't have to worry about the overlays not matching the stock pieces. I was reminded of this process when I watched OCC. The companys name is Tarjac. Not sure if I can link to their website but just google it. I cant remember the company I sent mine too but the process is the same. I plan on sending my 360 faceplate out in the next few days to get it coated in army digital print.
I so want to do this especially for the center console which is the trickiest bit, but i don't want to be the guinea pig on this one lol it will be difficult because of all the lighting and text on it
