Yeah that Chrysler-Benz interior looks ugly.
The GS with sterling interior gets the Dark Grey Bird's Eye Maple interior and looks stunning.

I think I read in the new Lexus 08 catalog that the ES has a Black wood option. If somebody made it in piano black i would of jumped on that to match my black interior.

I wouldve been nice if Lexus has to many opitions of wood like benz. too bad they dunt. hope they do in the upcoming years

I would prefer Piano Black Ebony.
That would be hot. But difficult to maintain...

What do you guys think the odds are of Lexus offering a different color wood trim for 09 models???

Highly likely.
They did it for the GS for its 4th MY appearance, and I'm pretty sure they'll do it for the IS.

Well, I defintely like the Lexus Birds Eye Maple better than the Infiniti Rosewood. I didn't like that style at all.

yeah makes me think of a granite kitchen counter. I think they should offer Piano Black wood, that'd look nice.

The pics don't show the detail these Dark Grey Bird's Eye Maple interiors that the GS and Ls models with grey interior have. It really takes elegance to the next level. Im sure all you guys would change your mind when you see one in person. I wish they would've done the Sterling interiors with wood grain the right way from the beginning. The red wood and gray interior don't go together at all.
