Default Handling, Cornering and Traction

Been driving my new IS350 for 3 months now.

Couple weird things I have noticed that have been nagging me. I keep attributing it to three possibilities a) the fact that I have pirelli sottezero snow tires b) tire inflation level c) front end or problem with car d) it's natural when too much power be transfered to the wheels traction is lost and I need to adjust how I drive it

a) Seems like there is an inch in the middle of steering feedback that is super sensitive and almost no tension on the steering wheel. It feels like when the wheel is centered that the steering is dead within this inch, but when you move it the car it instantly moves the front end

b) It seems like there is a lag in steering between the front end and the rear end. The front goes where you want and the back catches up. I can really feel this (or am I just imagining this)?

c) When accelerating from 0 with the pedal matted the car fishtails, hops, and has traction issues.

d) Fast cornering the car loses traction very easily.. slides out easily.

Thanks in advance

Driving conditions are clear, pavement is dry. Sorry I didn't specify, but Oahu would be nicer :-)

I've had similar issues. I believe it is 90% tire, 10% car. It is a Lexus, and there's nothing that can be done about what that means without a few thousand dollars of mods.

I am planning to get good tires within a few weeks, and I believe that will fix most issues.

Undoubtedly tires. I have none of the issues you describe now, nor did I have them with the first set of tires from Lexus.
