Default Motegi Wheels?

I've been running on Motegi rims for a while, and looked them up before purchasing them. the mogeti site boasted its Drifting merits and awards, etc. but thats what every website does.. promotes itself..
I bought the rims at i think 275$ a piece off of Tirerack.com, and was wondering the quality of them. I don't know much about rims and what makes them better/worse, but know that weight is a big ordeal. The offset is +40mm, which again, i dont know what that means.. so any help on that would be appreciated

but basically i got a good vibe from the Motegi site, but the fact that these rims were so cheap makes me a little nervous. I've experienced a little more tramlining than i did w/ the stocks... anyone have any knowledge on this company?

Your o/e wheels have better quality than "Motegy" by "Chinese Racing Wheel" company.

Sorry, so many typos! I say nono on this one.

the overall quality of the wheel cannot be compared to WORK, VOLK, HRE, jLine, or iForged. i think they are cast so they are not as strong as forged. they also weigh more so handling and acceleration suffers too. but if they look nice, fit nice and you dont run over any pot holes, you'll be fine.

Can't see the pictures.

I wouldn't go/stay with Motegi. My friend has a set of their rims installed on this rsx type-s and he accidentally ran over a speed bump going around 30 mph and the rim just bent about 1/2". Cheap cast rims. I wouldn't cheap out on rims because you definitely get what you pay for. Forged all the way!

rims are very important, dont put on rims just to put on rims... sometimes stock is better.
