Car damaged in parking lot
Ok so im not sure when the hell this happened but it looks like someone hit the front of my car. I didnt notice it until my gf pointed it out to me today. I never noticed it cause I dont wash the car every week. It was a pretty nice day out today and the sun showed the ripples like no other! The hood has raised ridges in the middle and left side and the bumper seems to have been pushed in a little. I took my car in about a month and a half ago for an oil change and im sure they would have said something. Its dark out now and dont have pics yet but Ill upload some tomorrow. This sucks!!

wow thats pretty bad.. to be honest i doubt you have a chance of finding who-ever hit it considering its so late. sorry to hear that happened thats pretty bad news - good luck with the repairs...

I treat my IS like nothing else, everytime I parked my car in a location (other then my garage) I always check to make sure she's not damage or anything before getting on the car again.

Bummer! I feel for you! This happened to me in my 350Z around Christmas at the mall. I didn't notice it until my mom saw the front of my car. Ever since I got my 2008 IS, I am very careful where I park my car out in public. Call me a nut, but I would rather park far away vs. getting my car hit by stupid people. Hope repair goes okay for you!

Sorry to hear about your car. But I would suggest making a good habit of checking it before you get it, especially in a busy parking lot with many careless drivers out there.

But sometimes I do worry about people that just cross over the parking lines just to get on the other side.

I'm the same way. I usually try to park beside an island or park as far away as possible. It's funny seeing my lone car so far in the distance while I could've parked much more closer to the door entrance. But, safety is utmost priority form my IS.
