Yeah the Japanese "Kit", all I need to do is get the black leather jacket and sun glasses and I can be the new Michael Knight, lol.
Oh yeah word of advice to all of you who are debating between springs and coilovers, IF YOU HAVE THE MONEY, GET THE COILOVERS. I tried the IS250 Eibachs when I first got the car and I was unhappy because the driver side was over 1/4 inch lower and they rode to stiff for my liking. I then got these Tein CS and you can slam the car if you want the car still rides nice and has all the suspension travel necessary to keep a nice ride. When you use the stock shock and lower with springs, the shock has a tendecy to bottom out because it was not desinged to be compressed as far as the new coils will permit so you can have a jarring ride with springs. My Teins ride more controlled than stock and smoother on setting 6, I had to turn it up since I got the spacers because it makes the lever large as the shock is acting as a support on the fulcrum.

I've been saying this for many many years.

The most important aspect of a vehicle is its stance. Stance is comprised of two things:
1) vehicle height (wheel well clearance)
2) wheel offset (wheel well non-clearance)

You hit the nail on the stance jackpot!

Shern you are correct. I try to make the fender snug up against the tire as much as possible without problems. Japanese cars have much less room in the wheel well than German cars do, I know this coming from audis.

If you know how to press out and press in the new lugs it is easy. They make bolt on ones, but they are hard to find here in the US.

You can get the spacers online for about $210 shipped.

Sincity - where did you pick up the Teins from? What did you get them for? Aren't coilovers usually over $1000? I would really like to go this route but man that is expensive...

Yes most of them are over a grand. You can get Tein SS for 900 though and Megans as well.
