I would do it myself, but I just don't want to.

I used to do it myself but there’s no longer a way to dispose of the old oil. Service stations won’t take it anymore. So I go to the dealer who charges $36.43 and they wash the car.

Click here for used oil collection centers in California.

I bought a box of 10 OEM filters for $47 (including tax). I buy Mobil 1 at Wal-Mart for $22 a five quart bottle. It takes about ten minutes if I really work slowly and I used 6.7 quarts of oil.

Your link doesn’t work, at least not on my computer. But if these centers are too far away from where I live, like the last time I lchecked, then it’s easier for me to just go to the dealer where I can browse through the new cars, have some free coffee and doughnuts and get my car washed.

$40-$45 oil and filter. Takes about 30 mins. I take my time when changing oil. I let it drain for 15-20 mins.

$66 for full Valvoline Synthetic. And because they are a mechanic shop, they check all my suspension issues while they are at it.
