My trunk stopped opening without the physical key. Saw this problem solved.

The issue started as, trunk won't open with. The key or the drop down switch. That is loacted next to the driver side door, I checked all the fuses. Everything is fine, I tried the battery trick. It opened the trunk, and then it stays open it and won't close. I tried to press the trunk open button from inside, nothing works. I tired the keys, all it does is it beeps. So now it's stays open, but won't close the trunk. I thought the actuator was bad so I ordered one used from ebay. The issue is still same. The pervious owner, didn't change the trunk open switch. He glued it to some silicone, which destroyed that switch.
