For you guys that have tint how long did it take for everything to dry completely? I've had mine for 2 weeks now and they're still are some wet spots and what almost looks like bubbles in the film. I called up the tint shop and they said wait another week since titanium takes twice as long to dry??

my metallic tint took over 3 weeks to dry. it sat in the garage most of the time, though.

mine took about a week... you should take ti there to have them look at it....they should fix it if theres any problems

Mine was dry in a week or so... i didnt touch the windows for about 5 days, as recommended by the tint shop. Two weeks later, im doing good

xprincox, i noticed you live in db. where did you get your car tinted? and is your sig updated with the tint? because i want to get a feel of how dark i want my tint.

i got it done at tint zone over by the hk plaza in city of industry. Nope it's an old pic.

I think 26% is perfect... not too dark but not too light either.

Mine took about a week to dry as well. Shop told me not use roll down my windows for about 5 days and try not to use rear defrost first few days as well.

All in all, I would say it really depends on the weather and how the shop installed it.

Some shop will use heat to dry up the window as they are installing which will result in less time for drying.

yeah the week i got it installed it was raining all week so it was alot of humidity. But the weather is warming up now so hopefully it'll clear soon. I'm just worried these small air bubbles aren't going to clear up...i'll probably take it back to have em look at it over the wkend.

small bubbles should clear up. my tint looked terrible the following day. after its completely dried, it looked great.

i had to get my fronts retinted due to scratches. it was done during a heat wave and it dried in about 3 days. so be patient. metallic film is thicker than normal film.

well.. sometimes it takes touch ups. Did you ask them to reheat and clean up the bubbles?

On my 2nd tint job, Johnsons semi-metallic 45% all around, i touched it up and it looks great on my GFM.

You should be able to go back to your shop and have them touch up.

If you are comfortable, you can always try to smooth out the air bubbles. Some even suggeested using fine needle to pop the bubble and than flatten the area. (I would prefer to go back to the shop and get what you paid for IMO)

There is no right answer. Depends on what type of tint you got. I tinted Suntek for back windows and they dry within days but front windows I used V-Kool for legal reason in CA. It's about 6 weeks and not drying completely yet, there are still bubbles.

Depends on the temp and the type of tint you received. It took mine about 2 weeks (during winter - 50 degree weather) to be bubble free. I didn't roll down my windows or clean them from the inside until a month after just to play it safe. They look fabulous now after two months
