I am on the brink of swapping it for a 97' Acura NSX. If everything works out right with the service records and the compression test I may buy it. I know, totally different cars. However, This is my weekend car so if I am only going to drive it on the weekends in Las Vegas than "WTF" Right?

Having owned a NSX what are you waiting for!!! Words cant describe that car. Get on NSX Prime and read up on what some have done. I had the Comptech exhaust, Test Pipes
, and headders! This was a great addition to the car. I also put in a stereo system as the factory one is so behind the times even back then in my mind.
I totaled mine 3 years ago
and I actually made money on it after having it for about 1.5 years or so. Its now a rebuild with a salvage title on it and actually saw it in the Acura dealer where i purchased and service my wifes car. How weird that was. We pulled carfax and it went to about three different yards then had no trace but a title about 2 years after the fact. feel bad for the person that go it but they they had to know

Even though NSX are discontinued, but they are still sick exotic cars. I would buy the ones without the flipping headlights. They look so sick. Make sure you take lots of pics for us when you do the trade up.

No doubt I will. It currently only has minor mods. It has some comptech springs and shocks and Chrome OEM wheels. If the compression test comes back gravy then I may put on the Comptech Supercharger.

NSX was the world's first all aluminum production car and having said that, it is very expensive to repair panels. Be careful when you decide to play. Very nice car, always liked it. Reminded me of the concept Audi Avus Quattro named after Avus Race Track in Germany.

There are only 2 manufacturers cars that I've seen built properly on an aluminum chassis platform and cost under 100K. They are Honda and Lotus. The welds on the chassis are done perfectly. If you look at the welds under the chassis on the C6-Z06 you thought it was done with a flux-core aluminum Mig welder.

Good luck on your acquisition. NSX is a beautiful car, it was out of my price range at the time so I ended up with a Supra. I would love to get a hold of one with low mileage, but that is wishful thinking. Plus, anyone who has one doesn't give them up easily so you definitely got a good find.
