CL Members,
By popular request (LOL), I was asked if I could post some pics of the pothole damage where I not only blew a two wek old tire, but a MOMO as well. To paint a (dramatic) picture, I will start the story by saying, it was a cold sunny afternoon as I was making my way diligantly to downtown Chicago while still in the suburbs. As I proceeded northbound on Archer Ave in light traffic, I came upon a mine field similar to those on the DMZ between north and south Korea. It was as if Satan himself took the earth from underneath me. With the speed limit 55mph and the rapid decline in gradiant within the road, it made it impossible to view this series of pothoels. As I hit the hole, nearby animals in the quiet effort to gather food for their young had stopped dead in their tracks and you could feel the wind move from their heads as they focused on the impact. How does that do (LOL)?
