Hey guys, does anyone know if the silver color option is VERY light or if the White color option is silverish in person?
I ask because I want a new IS that is either Black or Silvery White. I don't want a boring regular silver (like 40% of cars on the road), but I don't want a white like paper or cream either.
If not, I wonder why car manufacturers don't offer this amazing color combo. I guess I would have to settle for the black.
But anyway, soon to be new IS350 owner here!
I just saw RFFG's signature... I want a car that looks exactly like this in real life! :

I have Obsidian (black color) and it's a really pretty color when clean. I love dark color cars (that's why I went with Obsidian), but you have to be careful with black because it shows swirls and scratches very easily. Silver is a good color to get IMO. It looks really good on the IS model, and it doesn't show dirt/swirls/scratches as much as black does.
Black interior would be good to get too....it wouldn't show the dirt like the other color options.

How is the star fire ? It looks lighter than Glacier Frost Mica, (and I'm not a fan of the blue lookingness of the GFM). The Tungsten looks a little too grey/silvery.
I'm hoping the Star Fire Pearl is gorgeous in person! Fingers crossed!!!1
Edit: Oh noss.. Star Fire Pearl is just white. I guess I will have to see GFM and Tungstun in person. I'm guessing Tungsten is just Silver...

Welcome to CL!
Get a 350...and I suggest the hottest color Black!![Thumb Up](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif)
I really keep my car as shiny as an 08 and garaged a lot.
I get comments of how pearly the paint it is everywhere I go. I keep terry cloths in the trunk and all that.
although Black Onyx is not avail anymore they look the same

Obsidian over here! sexy when clean and shinny, like the little lady E said, scratches and swirls you may see, a nice buff job will take care of that. white is nice when clean.

GFM seems to be what your looking for. go to dealer at different times of day to check it out for yourself. the white color is really bright, but like the gfm, needs to be kept clean to show

I'd suggest making sure you see GFM in person, and make sure it's outdoors, not just on the showroom floor. You may want to see it on a sunny day AND an overcast day, AND at nite--it looks different each time I see one. It's not for everybody...

GFM it is then! Thanks guys. I haven't thrown Obsidian out the window yet either. It will probably come down to inventory and the deal in the end. I would be very happy with either.
