I am pretty sure the cover just comes off? its been some time since I worked on them. either way you can change them. I know I looked at them before I installed but didnt mess with them. I cant recall if you have to remove the whole outer cover to change them or not??
Tony if you need help let me know. I can walk you through it as you install. I did it for a few other members over the phone. It really isnt that bad to do!

I dont think its worth taking them off. I am not so sure I will take mine off. Get them on eBay....its a really inexpensive mod Do you really think there is more then one company out there manufacturing these side mirrors?? they come from the same place. Save yourself the money and buy them direct. I will help you install them
