No problem!!

Well you are running 20's... no??

So you just need to see if your 20" wheel clears a new IS-F brake system..

Rumor has it there is an IS250 in "the OC" rolling around on IS-F wheels... (not a member of CL)..

Joe Z
why would there be minor fender liner rubbing?

yes i have 20s and they do clear. these wheels were on my friends TL 6-speed with brembos before he rebuilt the front barrels and sold them to me. but, i just like to be able to use my stocks just incase because they are basically brand new still with like 4000 miles on the tires.

Because the person that i heard put them on a stock IS250, used the exact take off tires as well..

So the 225/40/19 is just a bit too tall of a tire on the IS250..

Again.. the OEM 2IS 18x8 wheel will not work in the FRONT

I am sure there is an aftermarket 18" wheel that will work with this IS-F Brake System..

maybe, but i am not so sure. problem is the overall diameter of the brakes being 14.2", that could be too big for 18" wheels out there

ah ha! nice, so it's possible to find 18s to fit over the is-f brakes. that does open up more room for people

Yes..

I guess it would have been to easy for Lexus to give Brembo an IS-F wheel, 2IS 18" wheel, 3GS 18" wheel, etc.... to make sure the Caliper cleared ALL of their wheels..

Trust me when I tell you there is not much of the Caliper that needs to be machined off for it to work..

Same goes for the IS-F wheel on the IS350 oem front brake caliper ..

Sometimes I wonder why I don't work in the Lexus R&D / Tech Data dept..

Are the X-package wheels any different from the the regular 2IS 18' wheels in dimensions, in that case is it safe to assume they they won't clear as well ?
