Perfect. That is exactly what I am looking for. This site is giving me fits though. I am trying to find the filter for the RX350 as well. If someone can find that on there can they post that as well. Thanks ahead of time.

Personally, I'll order mine from Sewell Lexus. They even have a 15% off everything sale right now. Not to mention their great customer service .

OEM Part number = 87139-07010
Toyota & Lexus both carry the same part number..
You shouldn't pay more than $25 for it..
MSRP is approx. $32-$35
It will be cheaper to buy at a local Toyota dealership, if you get discounts from the parts guy..
This OEM part number is for the HEP filter we need...

HEP - High Efficiency Pollen: Features a 2 layer filtering structure (Pollen and Electrostatic materials) that helps to capture more particles.

FYI for whatever it's worth. The one review on that site gave them a very poor rating, said he was still waiting for his filter after 4 weeks.

Identicle to the factory filter I took out.

$30-$40 for the cabin filter?!?!? I bought a Puralator from Advanced auto parts for $12... and I thought I was being robbed! (When I ordered, I though...."Dang, I can probably get this from the dealer at this price.)
I understand wanting an OE filter for oil and air intake, as they affect the performance and engine life of the vehicle....But what does the OE Filter buy you over a puralator or bosch filter. Maybe I just dont care much about the air I breathe.
BTW, the part number was 22880344, they had to special order, but it only took a couple days.

Guys, this DIY doesn't help for '06 model. When I opened up the black door I don't see another white cover. I see this big plastic that is covering the whole filer. I can lift it up but it's very difficult to pull out the filter. Anyone knows how to remove the filter for 06 model? It looks like I would have to take out the whole glove box, then why they did put the little black window?

I have an 06 and I followed the guide easily. Actually, it's my lady who did the cabin filter change while was doing the oil change.
You must've missed something. Take the lil black cover piece that sits right on the back of the glove box, you see the white plastic thing with 3 taps. Push all of those in and up, then you can remove it.
IMO, if my fiancee can do it, it should be fairly easily. Though she's a lil more technical than the rest of the avg females since she's been around helping me working on my cars.

Yep, I was about to get the purolator filter since I've used them on my G35 as well, but my local store doesn't have it. So I went to autozone and got the Bosch filter instead, the part number is P3502 for the BOSCH filter. It's a lil more than Purolator, $19.99 to be exact. We bought a case of 4 and got a 10% discount from Autozone

This is weird. Why do I have a different housing covering the filter? The first pic shows the white box that is covering the filter. I see this after I removed the black window on the back of the glove box.
The second pic is showing the filter after I lifted that white box. That box was pain in the *** because it's springy and takes a lot of force to lift it then I can see the filter, and I had to keep lifting to pull out the filter. It's completely different then DIY instructions.

You have the make sure the button on the Air circulation is set for "recirc" before removing filter..
It's in the owners manual..
