leave the gap
the jun spolier conforms to the shape of the top of the back glass if you stick with that there will be the correct size gap and no alignment problems

whats the thinnest/strongest tape available to use??? looking for the tape.. that comes on the oem trunk spoiler???

I used 3M tape industrial strength (red back) can be purchased from your local Staples or Office Max.

All you have to do is CENTER the spoiler and it should be perfect with a GAP.. no worries all the roof spoiler are like this..

tape can be cut in any shape. I used it for my badges on my Acura when I re-applied them.
