Usually when I go to the dealership to fix anything under warranty (MB and Subaru), the invoice has some ridiculous high charge ($0 balance since it's free under warranty). I seriously hope that this is the case as well and that Lexus doesn't really charge this much to "fix" when my car is out of warranty... I don't think Benz charges that much, even though their prices are ridiculous as well... $7k for 2 rattles (new seat) and a bulb? When one of our HID bulbs blew out on our '03 CLK, Benz only charged us like $500 (still a ripoff) to fix... Can't you replace the ENTIRE front seat assembly for like $1000 (excluding labor) at the dealership? I'm curious as to how they got such a high number...
almost 7 grand to fix a seat, a rattle, and an HID bulb...
