Default More snow.... argh.. so first Photoshoot...

Okay, pics from last weekend as we got another 10" yesterday (and 98" for the winter) and I am jonsing for spring. Took these after full wash, clay, wax detail... we still had snow from all winter even though it had been 40 degrees + for 4 straight days... sorry for pic quality....

I FEEL YOUR PAIN!!!!!!!!!!!

Today i was to go have the PS2 tires put on the T1S rims but thats not going to work since there is SNOW again in IL. Its not bad but not going to take the chance....this needs to end NOW

SO how hard is it to do the claybar? I normally take my car to one of the detail guys at the dealer and he will do everything for 50$ cash. Pretty nice deal but this car really needs claybar, possible buff, and a nice wax so i can be seen this spring/summer!

How far into WI are you? Would be neat if we can make a nice little meet when weather permits for IL & WI if we are all close enough.

Sheboygan, but down to Chicago on business quite regularly. Would love to get a meet together with all the local Lexus guys/gals....

Turtle Wax has a new 3-step clay process that removes quite well. I was skeptical, but you can see the results. You rub it on, let dry, then rinse off with a hose (just like waxing), then wipe down with a wet chamois. Then wax & detail. Clay bar would do well to get deeper containminants out and smooth out areas you can feel in the paint.

For wheels, blast with high pressure, then 409/Windex combo and "elbow grease"....

I am with all you guys, My car was covered with snow this morning. As for our Wisconisn friend rdgdawg, those 10 spoke OEM rims should be cleaned an waxed to reduce the brake dust buildup.

Sure rub it in, just rub it in. Today morning when I could not open the gas door because the whole car was covered in a 1/4" thick sheet of ice I finally snapped and started swearing at the weather. Haven't done that in a long time

Well, on the other side, at least we have freeways here where you can get a car up to 144 MPH.... so take that island people
