HID fogs are a must, I hope to see some posted pics. I have replaced my bulbs to yellow 55w OEM and that made a veru very small improvement. Then I placed the protective yellow vinyl on and don't like the daytime look. I will definitely be doing a HID fog kit in Yellow in a month or two.

I remember hearing it was a pain the re-install the front bumper skin. I hope to be able to install them by removing the wheel and going through the fendor wall like the bulb swap. I will make sure to secure the ballasts. If they bounce around, they will have a greatly reduced life span.

just installed my 3000k hid fogs yesteday. i wasnt sure how i should mount the ballast. i used the mounting thing for the passenger side (there was a hole so i used nuts bolts and washers) but on the driver side the window washing fluid was in the way so i taped it behind the bumper. i know it's ghetto but whatever... and i used gorilla tape so i doubt it will be falling off

overall, the installation was pretty easy.. except it took a while because i never removed the bumper before. somehow i ended up with MORE bumper clips... oh well. i am happy with the output.. straight yellow!

you don't have to remove the front bumper. just turn the wheel, remove the clips, pull back the wheel well lining. theres just enough room to work with.

i double sided tape and zip tie my ballast down. no rattles. been good for a few months.

mia - glad you got them installed and I ALWAYS stress the importance of the harness. In fact, I had to cut short an install into a 1985 Rolls Royce earlier this week because the battery was in the trunk and the owner was going to need an amp power kit wired up to provide power up in the engine bay.
