New wheels: SSR VF1 (SBC) 19x8.5/10
Although I posted in the "wheel thread" I thought this would be a more appropriate place for feedback, ...and since it is a new wheel to the states, it may get more views here.
(for full specs, see the wheel thread)
After a long 4 month wait (I ordered these at SEMA), these wheels finally arrived. I just had them mounted last Wednesday in time for a local car show, here in Houston.
Fitment is great, no rubbing so far (lowered on Eibachs), my only gripe is the TPMS incompatibility.
I spent alot of time on the phone with the Tanabe measuring for the best fitment possible, ...I use the car as a daily, so running an aggressive offset (for more lip) was out of the question. Even with this conservative set-up, I still ended up adding a 5mm spacer in the rear for fill the fender a bit more.
Anyway, just wanted to share my new look. I hope the wheels stays as exclusive as it is now, but at the same time I hope the IS owners here like it as much as I did and get them too!

...oh, and sorry for those who were interested in the Volk's, ...ironically, a friend here locally swiped them up just today. Keeps me from having to hassle with shipping, etc... ..again, sorry for those who were waiting.

I loved the Volks too, but as I said, I got bored and needed a new look. and something different, something exclusive that not many people have had yet.
Thanks for the comments.

Lookin real nice, love the look with the stepped lip. The SBC looks even better in person, but I have to agree with some that the car looked pretty sweet with the Volks on it.
I dd my IS around town and I think I may have driven by your car on the beltway a few weeks ago...unless there's another similarly modded SGM IS350 in Houston.
