Default Something I just discovered about the car that I hadn't noticed in 2 years...

There's a clear sticker that protects the black plastic of the shifter markings(P, R, N, D, S).

Has anyone else noticed this?

I took it off today to reveal a clean, scratch-free surface. I considered just leaving it on, but it just looks so much better without it.

I'm very detail-oriented, so I don't know why I didn't notice this a lot sooner. Check it out if you haven't already discovered it.

Check again. It's perfectly flush... really hard to tell it's even there. It's the exact size of the black rectangle that surrounds the markings. You kind of have to pick at the corner to peel it off, otherwise it's invisible.

I didn't have one on mine when I got my car. They should have taken that off during the PDI.

Mine is still on. I only noticed it because there is a very tiny air bubble that caught my attention one day.

I noticed mine a few months ago. I decided to leave mine on unless it gets to a point where it gets bad with scratches.

Thanks for the tip. I had a few scratches already and my car is fairly new. Was going to talk to the dealer about it, but now it looks perfect!!

I think the dealer took mine off too during PDI. I wish they hadn't, it's helpful to leave it on for as long as possible.

Verified, i looked this morning and found its still and looks ALMOST invisible. I will leave it on until the sticker peels away.

Which reminds me, Time to apply some more Plexus onto the wood.
