I just came back from a road trip and damaged my car substantially. My front bumper, lip and all 4 wheels need to be repainted and possibly the hood and fenders as well. The real damaged is that one of my headlights (passenger side) is cracked and needs to be replaced.
If anyone has a headlight housing for the auto leveling model please PM me, i am interested in the glass/plastic part only.
As for the painting the wheels, i need to recolor the lips chrome and thought maybe it is time to color the center part as well (probably something gray'ish). Any recommendations/do'es & don'ts for the lip? and shall i apply clear coat on it? Thanks

On my way back from Dubai (850+Km trip) the weather was a bit windy, little wind + desert (+ red ring for 4+ hours at least) = sandblasting. I guess I should have known better, I pulled over for an hour waiting for the wind to slow down a bit but I couldn’t wait longer and carried on. The front lip and lower part of the front bumper took most of the exfoliation, then I would say the mirror caps, then the front-most part of the hood and fenders.
The wind was mostly blowing from the passenger side, so both wheels from that side lost the chrome finish on the lips and are almost flat silver. The front driver side wheels also got affected. I guess I’ll color all four to get a good match.
Anyways my front headlights and fogs were covered by a protection film so they should have been fine, I took the car to a (cheap) detailer so I can see what can be restored (from the paint - assuming that not all the clear coat was gone), I also asked him to remove the protection films since they were are blurry. The aftermath of this detail job was that the mirrors, fender and hood look good - but might need a repaint if they don’t match the new paint on the bumper and lips. He messed up one of my headlights some how and now they have alot of not so small cracks that in no way was caused by the road trip, the shop refused to admit that they did it
I’ll keep the car as is for now until I get a good deal on the headlights (at least better than OEM) and until I get my F-Style lip, I’ll also take the time to photoshop what new wheel finish would I want (and possibly a full new custom paint!? – maybe not, I haven’t made my mind yet)

Sand is such an abrasive element. Unforetunately, the only real fix is a repaint. If you could, please post some pics. I have a buddy who is a body/paint expert for high end cars. He taught me a lot in the past ten years. I can have him view the pics if possible.

hey hamza.... i think its time for the "black out" finish from those DPE's
Sorry about the car though :\
Insh'Allah you will get it all fixed and hopefully, a new finish for the wheels.
