Default New Rim Color

I was at the dealer the other day, and noticed on some IS's that they had a darker rim color, is this standard now?

Anyone else have these? They looked gun metal.

I think the color you're referring to is called liquid graphite. It comes standard on some of the OEM wheels, like the G-Spyders.

Like the color but prefer the X package rim. A little bit darker and that would be perfect for my SGM!! Actually my 07 rims look very similar to that... to bad when I wash the brake dust off they wont anymore.

They should've came out with a darker rims from the beginning on the 2nd gen. Which of course didnt'/would not have mattered to me, since I had planned to get a set of aftermarket rims soon after getting the car. When I bought my year old 2006 car, I thought it had two different sets of wheels between the front and the back pair. The brake dust had evenly covered the front wheels making it darker then the back. I actualy liked the darker tint. I guess someone agreed at Lexus.

Does anyone have some pics of the white with the darker rim color?

And has Lexus fixed the brake dust problem?
I have the 06, and I swear it is the most annoying thing ever

There is TSIB for it. However, and I know not everyone agrees, but word on the street is the dust problem is better but you sacrifice braking performance with the new ones.

Truthfully Id rather have better brakes and deal with the dust....
