Just went over to Disney for the day, and pulling into the parking lot, my power steering went out completely. After all day in the park, when we went back and got in car to come home and same problem. That was an interesting drive home from orlando to tampa. has anyone else had this happen? what a pita. i assume it will safe to drive to dealer in the a.m.? could it be as simple as a fuse? appreciate any insight, and thanks
just heard back from the dealer. said that the electronic rack and pinion failed. had to order the part. what exactly is that and i wonder how much it costs? even though it's covered under warranty. said they had never had this happen on a car before at their dealership, so i hope this is an isolated incident and not something that will be common on the is in the future.
