Default Car Wash Rituals W/poll

Alright yall, this came to mind after finishing washing my car today. I used to never wash it on my own instead I'd go to a car wash place. Today I used my megiuars wash/wax and then buffed it dry with a microfiber cloth.
However, after today I think I'm going back to the old ways since it just seemed to be convenient.

What are your car washing rituals?

If you care at all about your finish you'll do it yourself. If you have a car wash place that's all by hand, that might be ok too.

Since I live in an apartment, I go to those self-serve coin operated car wash bays. I bring two 5 gallon buckets, my car wash equipment, and quarters. $2.50 gets me 10 minutes of running water from those spray wands, and during that time, I pre-rinse my car and fill up my two buckets. Then I wash the car by hand and insert another $2.50 to rinse everything off and clean my stuff.

I never wash, even after rain. Meguiar's Ulitmate Quik Detailer 1 or 2 times a week, Meguiar's Quik Detailer on the wheels.

Wish I had the time or patience to hand wash often, but I don't. Will hand wash occasionally in spring/summer, but usually go to "full service" place that does wash/vac/windows/wheels, etc. around once a week, depending on weather.

Washed at home by hand once every two weeks. Washed at a nice place with touchless system once a week. (Doesnt clean as well as the hand wash but keeps the car looking fresh in between detailed washes)

Wheels, cleaned daily due to brake dust.

Interior... Vacummed often but never seems to be enough. Always grass and rocks the second I finish. Thank god you can't see it from the outside!

at least once a week depending on the weather i go to the self wash and spend 3.00 dollars on a car wash because i dont trust running my car into a car wash plus its a great work out trying to do it fast to beat the buzzer! lol.... i bring 2-3 towels to dry afterwards and im good to go!!! have yet to wax my car....i dont feel the need to because i wash it so often its always looking shiney as new!!

Most of the time at home with a power wash.

I would go to the self service during winter times since I shut off my hose during winter. I did the same thing as previous post, bring my own equipment and just use their water to hose down before and after.

I have gone to the touch less system, its not bad, around $9 for full service. Does a decent job.

Ultimately, washing your car at home still the best way....because who will love your car as much as you do!

Try washing 3 piece wheels
I bought an air compressor just to clean my wheels.
