Just picked up my IS250!!
Very excited! Hi Everyone. Like I said just picked up my IS. Love it so far. However i do have one questions. How come i get so much noise when I open my sunroof? A lot of vibration.
Anyways, my name is Dan, im from Wellington, Florida. This is my first Lexus. Ive had Audi, Acura, BMW, Infiniti, VW and just got out of my Honda S2000. I will dearly miss that car, but its just not practical anymore.

haha...well its like 840pm EST and im exhausted from being at the dealership for what seemed to be 4 months but in actuality was about 4 hours. Ill be sure to take some pics.
Forgive me as I dont know the color names yet so ill just say i got charcoal with black interior.
Didnt get anything too fancy. This is primarily my car for work, so no nav or seat warmers for chilly South Florida

Congrats and welcome to the club! I am a new member, as well, and have nothing but great things to say about my first weekend with the car! I didn't notice any excessive noise with my sunroof open, although I didn't have it open too long - I'll check it out when the sun comes out!

I take your post to mean alot of vibration when you are moving. There's alot of turbulence with the small sunroof. If it was as wide as the door pillars and 1/2 the depth of the roof, it would be a nice airy feeling in the cabin. The Saturn Aura I test drove had a panoramic roof like that. But the dealership only got 1 car like that, and they discontinued it for some production reason. If the IS offered it, I definitely would have gotten it, even if it jacked the price up a grand or two. And I'm not talking about a sunroof for the rear-seat passengers like on the ES. Who needs that?
