Default Another Offset problem

Ok. I bought these rims that are the R2 DTR-3 Black with chrome lip rims.
I have a problem though. I have an IS350 and the fronts don't seem to clear the brakes? The front rims are 19x8.5 +35 and the rears are 19x9.5 +40. What spacers will I need to make the rims look flush with my IS 350?

ANY help on this will be appreciated thanx.

On a 9.5 it won't be totally flush but it'd be close, a small spacer could be used, but maybe not even needed if you don't stretch the tire any.

Edit: What Llama said, I was just reading the flushness portion with concern of a drop.

The mooncakes you bought arent R disk or High disk... thats why they wont clear the brakes... its not the offset but the 'face' of the mooncake itself. As for the spacers for a flush look, what drop are you running/tiresize?

the front: 19X8.5 with 245/35
the back: 19X9.5 with 270/30

the car is lowered, I'd say, approx 1-1.5 inches.

I guess I'd have to use the spacers 'cause the brakes won't clear

with 245 and with spacers, it will probably need some fender rolling...

ooo one more quick question. is it ok to put spacers on the front like 5mm spacers on the front and nothing on the back? or will that just throw off my whole car

IF you went with the vip stretch look, then you'd be fine.

i had to so spacers on the front only to clear my BBK...5mm is what you need. i dont see any issues so far but 235/35 will work. i get slight rub occasionally when i give it a full turn. sounds worse then it is. i am going to heat the corner it touches this weekend and give it a push.
