what is good for everything, that is not good for anything at all..If talk about performance and snow at the same tire, that is imposible..

snow tires have main difference not only in shape of pattern, but also in the structure of rubber. Universal tires are not good in low temperatures..

yeah i considered them as well, but i have snow tires, i just need an all season that gets me through the transition between fall and winter, where i'll see a bit of light snow, and i'll put my winter tires on afterwards.

Thanks guys! I've made up my mind, i'm going with the Conti Extreme Contacts, thanks Brain for the helpful tip. I can't wait to put them on and my rims too.

does anyone know if a wider tire will fit on the factory rear 18" wheels?

Instead of 255/40/18, maybe 275/35/18?

dammit, I can't get the Continentals. They are on national back order, and the wait time is 6 weeks

So i decided to go with the Bridgestone Potenza AS960 Pole Positions. Can't go wrong with those, nothing but great reviews.

only a pound heavier, so it's not bad.
