I'd checkout any attractive car and defiantly would eye-lock other IS's and give thumbs ups or nods... or ignore them sometimes, it all depends on who's in the other IS, what sort of vibe you get from him (note: it's always a "him" over here, no "her"s are allowed to drive)

The only time I commented on another person's IS is when I asked to see if I can take their spot.

Otherwise, all of them are AWD unmodded 250's with middle aged men/women driving them. I'm going to stereotype here and assume they probably won't really care if I gave them the thumbs up.

I always look, but 10 out of 10 people ignore me. If they look back I would give them :thumpup:

I ignore mostly everyone. Even if they are driving a Bentley GT. I worked in the auto industry for a pretty well known wheel company in NY. After being at SEMA 3 yrs in a row with our booth..having the lambo's, porsche's and phantoms....everything else is just basic to me.

So..I mostly don't even pay attention.

Most of the 2IS around here that are modded have very dark tint's (including mine) so it's hard to tell if they are looking or not, haha. I have my windows down about 50% of the time, so if I see a modded 2IS, I'll look and if they happen to have their windows down and look as well, I'll give them a thumbs up. This has happened 0 times so far though, lol.

I usually look at the other IS drivers. If they look back i'll wave or nod. I've noticed myself glancing at LS and GS drivers as well, but none of them have looked at me, lol.

if u see another is on the street or highway do u check them out? i noticed while driving i do and the owner driving the other is checks me out haha

I use to get the wave or thumbs up from other gen 1 owners when I drove my gen 1. With the 2gen, it is mostly older people who could care less. I do get the thumbs up from other import owners. Sometimes I get so excited I "High Five" the mirror.

Had a few waves, but I'm not down like that. Only Jeep Wrangler people do that kind of stuff.

man..I used to look at the ISs on the street but I stopped since
there are LOTsssssssssssssssssssss of ISs in Cali/Los Angeles area..LOL

but modded IS definitely gets my attention..and if I get an eye contact with
the driver, then I give them thumbs up

there are times when people wanna race me tho..WTH?? right?
we are driving the exact same car and I can tell his car is BONE STOCK!!! LOL
