I'm not sure about other dealerships... but in Dallas/Fort Worth, they won't do an navi "upgrade" cuz i've already called all the dealerships and they said no

i dont think it looks as good as OEM. and to get OEM upgrade there is a lot involved there is a thread around here they cant just upgrade it for you. It has to come from the Factory with Navi unless u are brave like some on CL that attempted and Succeeded props to them.

I just thought the screen sat a little low but it's not as bad as everyone is making it out to be. The cool thing about the flip out screen is that it neatly hides away when you're away from the car so it doesn't attract thieves.

I feel bad for the OP...I saw the thread right when he started it and knew he was going to get ripped apart.
I think its a decent install, but a truly professional shop would have done custom fiberglassing/woodwork but would charge around $3,000. For the money spent, including the equipment, it wasn't a bad deal...nothing i'd do to my car...but like you said...if he's happy, he's happy!
