Cool JDM side mirrors installed! Now on a Glacier Frost Mica! :D

Hey guys, I finally had the guts to go ahead and do this mod myself, went to my friends house on sunday so i can get some help. Took sunday afternoon to complete this. It's not as hard as I thought it would be, but definitly a good experience, as I have never installed anything on a car myself before. The mirrors were installed, and took us about a total of 2 hours. I haven't connected the wires yet, so, so far, they don't blink, but that should be the easier part, and I will get the wires connected this week sometimes. I love the look of it and I'm glad I got them.

I'd like to give a big thanks to Passnu2 for helping me through this, and the countless amount of questions I asked, he never got tired of answering them. And gave me many helpful tips. His DIY is right on, I followed the steps, and I didn't come across any problems. Thanks again, if it wasn't for the DIY, i would not even go anywhere near it. And if it's your first time doing anything with cars, make sure you get a friend to help you, I definitly couldn't have done it myself. Ok, enough talking, here are a couple of pictures. Sorry for the crappy cell phone pics. Enjoy in the mean time

Nope, they are the exactly same size, it's only the cover, not the entire mirror. So, basically changing the outer shell of our mirror covers.

looks better on a black car, because of the color contrast of the clear lens and the black mirror casing.

thanks , it did take a lot of courage to do this, half way through it I almost freaked out after seeing my door panel taken apart, mirrors hanging, lol. but all in all, very worth it, and a great experience!
