Default What color Fog Lights with my car?

I need opinions.

I'm thinking of changing my fog light bulbs, but don't know which color to choose.

I can go with yellow, but it seems too "ricey" for me. And if I go with this, should I go with bulbs or just an overlay?

I can go with a more crystal blue (HID-look), but my car will be "too" blue. Again, I can go with either bulbs or an overlay.

Finally, I can keep it stock.

I dunno. I'm just brainstorming...

PhillipMSPT,

I am a huge fan of the traditional Lexus IS/GS blue/yellow look coming down the road. No better way to easily ID a Lexus. I replaced my fogs with a 55 watt OEM yellow bulb from Ebay at $25 shipped and it really was not yellow enough, just a step up from the factory cream. I then purchased the Rvinyl protective yellow film and enjoy it for the night look but prefer the clear lense look if not illuminated. In a month or two, I am going to do a 3000k yellow HID kit. I think that is the route you should take to save money. I spent around $50 for my current set-up and it is ok. I could have bought the HID kit for about $80-$90 shipped and been done with it altogether from the get go.

Phil I think nice golden fog color will compliment the breakwater nicely!

mine is 3000k without overlays and they are already yellowish enough (not that I was hoping the overlays will help). But I think I am okay without the overlays. Its clear during the day so it fits well with the stock look, until you turn them on and surprise everyone.

Im not a huge yellow Fogs fan even though im yellow

But since i havent changed my stock low beams yet im deciding to either go with 4300k or 5000k HID fogs, I want the fogs to match the SMT LED parking lights, which look awesome!! The blue hue makes the car stand out at night over stock IS's with OE parking lights..

+1 .............

unless you NEED actual fogs lights...in that case go with yellow bulbs and skip the 3000K HID kit and/or overlays.

So, if it's yellow, then what next:

Overlays,
or Yellow Bulbs,
or 300k HID?

Go with HID, Only reason i say that is because the output would be great and the car will just POP!
