The dealer's trying to rip you off the "extras" such as the aluminum pedals and GS wheels. You really don't need either but if you want them, you can always buy it later at a much cheaper price. I'm sure there are other dealers around you that won't charge you an arm and a leg for just pedals and wheels (and they get to keep the 17's from your IS250 AWD too!).

what does your wife want? does she have an opinion? do you have children? if so they are probably safer in the Rx.

I also got different wheels and tires for my Is250. and I kept the originals. I just put winter tires on them. as far as the pedals are concerned .... is that with labor?

Yes on the wheels, no on the pedals. OEM sport pedals include the full assembly for the gas pedal. $400 is the list price for the parts--they were quoting $395 to include install too.

45k for a 250? wow my parents paid 48k out the door for a special ordered sport pack with navi/ ml sound etc. in 06' which was a really rare car then and it just came out....dealers are always in it for the money no matter what...you just gotta stand ground and you'll leave happy.... or just buy it and tell your sales person off(which i did)

Nope...he is getting the car for around 37k. I am sure I will get it for less for him!

What options are on that 350? seems pretty low? I have the same option and All but the headlight washers and the sticker on the car was close to 48k. what is the sticker on that 350 you are getting??

Once you back out the wheels and tire, sport pedals, and other add-ons that aren't true IS options, the price the dealer is quoting is nowhere near $45k.
