Default Goodbye All!

Goodbye everyone! I haven't been too active on the board but you guys have helped me a lot while I had my car. Finally decided that the lease of $652/month was too expensive after enjoying the car for 2 years. I really hate to give it up, every time I think about it I still cringe!

Anyway, I traded it in for a 08 TSX 6 speed manual. No where near the power or handling of my sport package but hopefully, some wheels and springs will help. At least I'm happy about the gas mileage (I'm getting 27mpg in SF mixed hwy/street!! )

I'll still lurk around the site and enjoy your posts! Good luck!

I have a TSX and I love it. It's a nice car...

I recently got a IS 250 awd, so I gave the TSX to the wifey.
(Sorry, I am new to the board....HI and I am happy to be a part of this forum)

But on the positive,

CONGRATS ON YOUR NEW CAR!

Yea, I thought about going to an IS250 but they just don't make them in stick shift anymore, at least the dealers didn't have it in stock.

i just suck it up and make the payments. plus, it drives me to work harder to move up into the next income bracket... but that's just me.

to each his own. enjoy your TSX.

Interesting??

My wife has an 07 TSX and I have an 07 IS350. I average 340 miles per tank and so does she. We both do xpressway driving??

I just filled my car with 93 octane vs 92 since we have both in my area. I have 1/4 tank left and I have 296 miles already!! I think my car gets great gas mileage but I came out of a V8 Audi S4 so anything is better then that beast....

TSX is a great car, one of the few that is a solid built car from Acura/Honda.

Good luck with the new ride and show some pics when you can

Is the 08 TSX the new body style? Either way a good choice. If it had more power, I would have considered one myself when I was buying my IS350.

They still make IS250s with 6MT, but the manual in the TSX is MUCH better anyway.

The 08 TSX are the same as all the other TSXs out there. It's the 09 that'll be the new style. But with the same engine and output and a little more bloated, it hasn't been getting good reviews. Besides, with the dealers getting rid of the 08s, I'm getting below invoice with 0.9% financing

Enjoy the TSX.

You should definitely watch your pennies. This economy is crazy, and you want to have a cost-effective daily driver. Sometimes, the IS just doesn't fit...

Good luck! And post pics of your new car!!!
