Dealer Sticker

I'm in the same boat as the OP. I want to get rid of my dealer sticker too. Should I do anything specific to my car other than what was mentioned in this thread? (here's a picture and yes I know the car is dirty)

wow those stickers are UGLY!!!
I suggest using a hair dryer first and peeling it slowly with your finger, or lightly with a blade ( BE CAREFUL)
* I do not take any responsibility for any damages you inflict on yourself because of my post

I've taken many stickers off my motorcycles which seem to come loaded with them. A blow dryer and some work with your fingernail will do the trick, finish it off with Goo Gone, or on a m/c I'd pop the gas tank and dip a rag in to wet it and that would take off the remnants of the glue pronto.
I'm surprised some Lexus dealers are using those old fashioned type stickers, I thought they went out in the 80's.

Man ... wassup with those stickers ... just bring it back to the dealership and ask them to take it off for you! especially if you think you can't remove the stickers on your own without damaging the paint

Hey guys, I recently decided I want to remove the little sticker decal that came on the car from the dealer. In my case it says "Nalley". My question is whether or not removing the sticker myself will cause any damage to the underlying paint. Does the dealer use some sort of special solvent that will remove the adhesive without harming the paint?
You wont find a better dealership than Nalley. Thats where i purchsed mine and they have been nothing but awesome to deal with. My advice to you is if you dont feel comfortable doing it yourself take it back to them i am sure they would gladly remove it for you. Also, in the past i have used the hair dryer and some gas on a rag trick with no problems at all. But on my black (Obsidian) i have read somwhere in another post that they do not have a clear coat on that color? Anyone know if thats true? If so don't use gas on a rag then it will damage the paint.
