COUPE COUPE COUPE COUPE
That's what our cars should have been from the start.
C'mon, our back seat leg room is a joke.
I'll be so mad when it comes out . . .
Edit - Oh and I'll probably trade my car in for it. Especially if it makes more power.

Or perhaps lexus is going to outsource the car to Chrysler to build

Good news, hopefully now this will stop all of the comments and complaints about when will Lexus release an IS Coupe. The trademarks are filed, so this is confirmation the coupe is coming soon.
The IS300C is quite interesting; hopefully that means a 3L V6 comes to North America for both the sedan and the coupe.

The rear seats/doors are useless anyways, and less weight is better.

Less weight? Not necessarily.
A coupe may be heavier than the sedan because it needs more ridig structural support for side impact collisions (a sedan has a b-pillar, a coupe may not).
For example, the 3-Series coupe is 3351 lbs, and the sedan is 3340 lbs. Not that significant, but still at a disadvantage...
