will do bro. i needed breaks since before it was sitting, so i just got back, jumped it and took it to the shop. it starts right up and everything else works. will let it run and charge for a good while.
when i charged it before going to the shop i put a cd in and it played (for a few seconds and then i turned the car off). turned it back on and no sound, cd or radio stations.
there is a "pop" kinda noise when you turn the car on (coming from the speakers, like a static pop or something).

Try turning off the stereo before you turn you car off. It may not be the same but I always turn my radio off before shutting the car off because I get that loud pop when I take the key out of the ignition. Especially if you have an eq or some signal processor inline.
Also with the amp if there isn't enough power the amp will go into proctection mode to prevent damage.

ML in a 350 that doesnt have it
I was looking at an IS 350 that does not come with the Mark Levinson audio package. Could I take the stock unit out and replace the stock unit with the ML? hope that makes since
Or should i just wait until I find one with ML and be done with it?
I had IS 300 for 5 years and it got totaled 3 weeks ago
Im lookin to get a 350 but I want one with ML and black interior...any thing else goes.
thanks

Yes its possible, but heres the catch. You arent gonna be able to find JUST the ML part very easily. Dealership charges bout 700 for it too.
When I fubared my nav, I ordered a nav unit off a ebay and just swapped the nonML unit for the ML one and everything was good. But I already had the ML unit in mine.
You'd probably end up better just trying to find one with ML in it. You might get lucky and find one for the same price too, some people dont even realize it has an upgraded stereo.

You better get the one with ML. If you change your mind and wants to get ML it will not be cheap or easy to replace every audio components related to ML. It's not just amplifier, even the cables and speakers are ML parts.

IS250 Adding Sub/Amp To Non-ML Questions
hey guys,
I'm going to be installing the 4 channel loc to run my mono amp and sub. I read the other threads and just wanted someone to double check my work before I start the project. Could anyone tell me which wires are on what harness? I pulled the trunk interior and can see the stock amp. There are three connectors going into the amp.
1) I'm assuming the signal wire is the tiny orange wire on the middle harness?
2) Which harness are the front L/R woofer wires located on?
3) Which harness is the rear sub wires located on? Also, do I need to tap both rear subs or just one?
4) Where are you all grounding your amp and loc ground wire to?
Lastly, could you tell me if the color coding I need to tap is right please?
Front Right Sub: (+)Brown (-) Pink
Front Left Sub: (+)White (-) Red
Trunk Sub: (+)Brown (-) Lime Green
(+)Pink (-) Sky Blue
Any help would be great...
Thanks!

nope the empty above the 2-20's and 1-75 fuses has no power whenthe car is off, and has power when the car is turned on, or when you push the push start button twice with your foot OFF the brake
