Anyone Else Getting over 35MPG?

Hey guys, I have a quick question about the MPG screens in our gauge cluster.
The first is about the lifetime mileage. From what I understand is that this is the OVERALL mileage for every single mile since the car was constructed right or at least the trip meter in the gauge cluster was initiated?
And about the MPG for the current tank..is there any way to reset that thing prior to a trip? Because on Benz's and BMW's that number can be reset or automatically resets for every drive cycle. Let's say I start my car in the morning and avg 25mpg to get to work. When I turn the car on it'll show w/ the same mpg but is there a way I can reset it without having to fill the tank? The only time I can get the MPG on the TANK display to reset is when I fill up. Is there a way to reset this display for every single trip?

I now get average 26 mpg about 30% city, 70% freeway in my IS350 after I poured in some fuel injector system cleaner... even though I use chevron which has techron...it improved about 4 mpg...

I never trust the display....
I've gotten 30mpg driving 80% hwy and 20% city using curise control most of the time.
with a 60/40 mixture I usually get about 26MPG
I've been driving conservative and using cruise control more often now... and I do see the MPG slowly creep up. I'm basing all my #'s from my a log I have that keeps track of my MPG and not from my display.
right now I have about 27k on the 250 and it's 100% stock
