Glad you are alright.

That seem like a head on collision but almost like 2 cars turning into each other.

I would definitely pursue why air bags didn't go off. Don't get me wrong, it's not the monetary reason, it's for safety reason for you and rest of the people who owns a Lexus. If this is a issue which hasn't been discovered, it should be.

Good luck with the claim

Hey Dan, where did this accident happen? That is pretty weird that your airbags did not deploy. Glad to hear that you made it out with just minor injuries.

Good thing you're ok!!!

But am I the only one to notice his tinted front windshield? I would be careful, because the moment insurance finds that out, you are ROYALY screwed. They could point the accident at your fault for not having 100% visibility. And its a felony.

Just a heads up.

If that picture was animated, the IS would step it's foot on the Buick for being so insulted by being hit by that car--not worthy.

I'm glad that you are fine. Make sure you don't have any other hidden injuries. On a lighter note, get the 335i and get the Dinan upgrade.

Ruled as a no fault? Did both of you run the red lights and hit each other? The only scenario I can think of is a yielding left turn where the light turned yellow and you gunned it and he was coming straight and also tried to make the light or vice versa. The reason I ask is usually there is someone at fault esp. in a FRONTAL collision. Either way, heal up bro..a car is a car is a car. They're replaceable, your health isn't. Good luck w/ everything.

It's interesting that the "curse" primarily seems to get those in their teens or twenties... Glad you're okay. Drive carefully.

OUCH! That looked rough! Glad you didn't get more hurt though. Main thing is your safety and health... everything else can be replaced. GFM? No! We dont' want our cars to become popular! LOL

So I kissed her goodbye today and got the rest of my stuff out. I'll be sending these pictures to Lexus as well. I was told these airbags definitely should have deployed.

The tie rod snapped like a twig

The oil pan was ripped off and the steering rack practically shattered

RIP 11/28/07 - 4/29/08

The insurance company came back with the numbers today and I'm actually getting a check for $2700 plus getting my car payed off so the GAP insurance wasn't even necessary. I'm going to Infiniti tonight to check out a G37
