Default So the curse decided to pay me a visit...

More pics pg. 3

Unfortunately it took my baby's life. I got hit head on by a Buick that was doing around 30-40 mph. I don't really want to get into details but I believe its gonna be ruled as a no fault accident. I was transported to the hospital with minor internal bleeding and a sprained wrist/broken finger. NO AIR BAGS DEPLOYED!

$23,339 in damages. Total loss dept. is looking into it now. Thank god for GAP insurance!

Here's my souvenir:

Depending on what happens with the insurance situtation, replacement car will either be a GFM IS250 or 350 or if I'm lucky, 335i.

YIKES!!!

It looks like an eye popped out!

I hope you get your car fixed as quickly as possible. And I also hope you get a good rental for the time being.

Good luck!

Man, my heart goes out to you. That looks like a rough collision. I hope you get better and I am sure you will be fine with obtaining a new vehicle.

Glad to hear it wasn't worse. I'm sure you're a bit sore - make sure you get yourself fully checked out. The car can and will be replaced, but delayed effects from accidents can spring up more than a week after the collision.

i hope you get better. It's very strange the air bag didn't depoly at this speed head on, I'd take it up to Lexus about it. The buick looks like it suffered worse damage than yours.

Holy s#!t. A frontal collision that bad and your airbag didn't deploy??? $23,000 in a frontal collision and the airbags didn't go off sounds weird to me! Perhaps Lexus needs to explain that to you.
My father had a similar accident, one that put him and my step mom in the hospital with major internal injuries. And yes, neither front airbag deployed in that frontal collision, where the doors had to be pried open with the jaws of life to extricate them! It turned out that my father had bought a brand new car that had been severly damaged on a test drive. The dealership fixed the car, improperly replaced and installed the new airbags, and sold the car as being brand new!!!!! Needless to say, my father's lawyer is very busy these days!!!
