Default Hypothetically...

if you ordered your IS and had to wait the +-4 months, and it did not have the specs you paid for...how pissed would you be?

i was just thinking of this because i ordered mine and my wait is about half way done.

i think i would march my way into the dealership and say, "ok, look. either we DRASTICALLY change the price we negotiated on for the original IS or i walk with any IS that is on the lot right now, ANY IS, my choice, for the price we negotiated on."

so once again, how pissed would be and what you consider saying?

It's happened to a couple of members.

But, yes, I would be pissed. Blood would be spilt. Strangers will lose their fertility...

I am in the same boat. I am waiting for a Starfire Pearl IS250 with manual tranny and no extras. I am gonna go ape-**** if the one I order comes with a lot of extras and not what I wanted.

yea thinking about this i'd kill'em

I'd make them order another one and walk out on them while the order's in the plant and buy another car entirely. (the new G37s and S5 are out man!)

I'd do some evil ish lol

I hope you received a "Buyers Order" with the options and price you negotiated on. By law, you should have received this upon request, then you will be fine.

um... what i wanted, i had to order it and it took them a good months to bring it but, i went to the dealership like 4 dayz after i ordered and i told them that i dont have a car and if they cant give it to me, ill go buy another AUDI and they have one ready in the lot for me, so... they just gave me GS430 fully loaded till my car came, it was kinda hard to move from GS to IS... but i like the IS, its smaller and more for me ...
i think u should go to the dealer and at least a get a car till urs come

kargahi, that dealership mustve been REALLY fighting for your sale to give you a GS430 for several months. it doesnt make sense to me, personally, for a dealership to give you a new, even a pre-owned or loaner vehicle, to drive around for 3+ months until your car comes, but if it happened, all power to you.

OP, id be thoroughly pissed off. i would use the "ANY IS" line if i were trying to get em to bump down the price or gimme more options, but i wouldnt rely on it because in their minds thatd lose them $10,000+ because you could walk out with an IS350 (which would be great haha)

anything happen to make you think this, or just getting worried?

If that's true, they must have really raped you on the price of the car to make it worth their while to deal with this.
